Born in Vienna, Austria

Degree in Textile Design & Engineering.

1990-2017

London based.

Graduated with a degree in Prop Design from the Royal Central School for Speech & Drama, London.

1992

1998

Yulia chose to have her 1st daughter, knowing it would change her life forever. Put making art at 2nd place.

2001

Lost Ruby. Pound herself. Began working on outdoor projects.

Awarded a bronze medal & voted best in show by BBC vote at the Chelsea Flower Show for the garden "Cradle and A Void," created in memory of her daughter Ruby.

2006

2008

Started collaborating with Wool Exhibitor at Designer Block, showcasing "Singing Garden," "Zbench," "Felt Luminaries," and "Wild Felt."

Founded Silk Felt Collective.

Initiated and led a design gallery at K&S in London, Dublin, and Harrogate, featuring "Woodland Boudoir" and the "Mermaid Project."

“Crown, Crone and Throne”.

Goddess of spinning Norn.

2018-2021

Moved to Utah and lived on a small holding to engage with its magical landscape and ancient sites. Tested what is enough made magikal moments in the landscape.
